New York, NY – November 13, 2007 – Avenue A | RazorfishTM, one of the largest interactive services firms in the world, has announced the promotions of Basel Salloum from Technology Director to Vice President of Technology, Mary-Lynne Williams from Experience Lead to Experience Director, and Jason Pryslak from Senior Information Architect to Experience Lead, all in the New York office. “These individuals have proven they have the necessary experience and skills to manage large, multi-disciplinary interactive marketing teams,” said Bob Lord, President of the East Region of Avenue A | Razorfish. With almost 400 employees in their flagship office in Manhattan, the agency’s local clients include Condé Nast, Maybelline, XM Radio, Starwood Hotels and TIAA-CREF.
Basel Salloum, promoted from Technology Director to Vice President of Technology, is responsible for managing, expanding and providing strategic direction for the agency’s technology group in the Northeast region. He also builds enterprise level digital solutions to help clients achieve their goals. A resident of Long Island, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
Mary-Lynne Williams, promoted from Experience Lead to Experience Director, is responsible for overseeing user experience research, design and usability testing on Avenue A | Razorfish projects. She has more than 10 years experience in usability information, architecture and visual design with a special expertise in financial services clients. A resident of Brooklyn, she holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech, College of Architecture and Urban Studies.
Jason Pryslak, promoted from Senior Information Architect to Experience Lead, is responsible for designing enterprise communication, delivery and trading platforms for some of the largest financial services firms in the world. A resident of Bedminster, NJ, he studied Mathematics at Moravian College.
